| ABOUT THE NEW PAVILION on salisbury beach |

|
Historic Pavilion Building Given a New Life Seaglass Restaurant is located in The New Pavilion at Salisbury Beach. A fixture on the beach since the 1970s, The Pavilion was once home to a number of recreational and entertainment ventures, but had been mostly vacant in recent years. Recognizing the potential of its prime oceanfront location and the consumer demand for quality fine dining on the beach, a complete renovation was initiated earlier this year using environmentally friendly materials and energy-efficient windows, lighting, insulation, radiant heating and HVAC systems. Brand new state-of-the-art kitchen equipment is also energy efficient and “green” practices are implemented during operation, including recycling and water conservation. Designed by Gienapp Design Associates, Inc., in Danvers, MA, The Pavilion’s once industrial looking exterior will reflect a lively cruise ship terminal appeal with steel siding, stainless railings, colorful flags and canvas awnings when completed. In addition, a new fully accessible entrance and exterior promenade accented with planters incorporating natural stones, textures and complementary colors create a welcoming new focal point and gathering place for guests and beach visitors. Seaglass is located in the “new” Pavilion at Salisbury Beach – what’s new about it? A complete renovation of The Pavilion was initiated earlier this year using environmentally friendly and energy-efficient materials, and a festive and welcoming new exterior was created. |
